Pensions Awareness Week

The Citizens Information Service launched A Pensions Awareness Campaign for the month of December which kicked off with an Information Seminar for the Public at the Temple Gate Hotel in Ennis.

The aim of the Campaign is to give helpful and impartial information on the various pension options available to the public such as occupational Pension Schemes, PRSAs and the State's Contributory and non-contributory Pension.

Speakers on the night who are supporting the initiative included representatives from the Pensions Board, Dept. of Social And Family Affairs, The office of the Pensions Ombudsman, Citizens Information Service and J.W. Williams & Co, Public Auditors & Accountants.
