Employment

We at Ennis Citizens Information Centre, by means of the Comhairle database, have access to the most recent changes governing employment legislation. We have copies of 'Employment Rights' a publication from Comhairle that is free to the public. Our database of information includes information regarding redundancy, training schemes, equality rights, self-employment, Fas schemes, and pensions and benefits.

Common queries range from the method of payment of wages to options on redundancy. As well as providing information, we liase with statutory and voluntary organisations on behalf of clients and support with problems associated with work and related issues.

We also liase with local organisations in the Clare area such as the Local Employment Service.
