At Ennis Citizens Information Centre, using the tool of the Comhairle database, we provide information on consumer credit, personal injuries, the insurance ombudsman, We also provide information on matters such as criminal injuries and house insurance, consumer credit, debt and the consumer litigation scheme and hire purchase.

We also advise on moneylending debts, household debts and fuel debts. In these areas, where the client is in accord, we frequently refer to the local Money Advice and Budgeting Service who are in a position to assist people who fall into debt and negotiate with the lending institutions on their behalf. We also supply information on car and house insurance.

The most frequent queries in this area include clients who have problems obtaining a reasonable quote for car insurance, disputes in regard to insurance claims and the possible re-possession of the family home.
