Senior Citizens

Ennis Citizens Information Centre offers information on various aspects of life for the older population including pensions, leisure pursuits, entitlements, rights as grandparents, medical care, schemes from the Department of Social, Community and Family Affairs and much more besides.
Common queries include state pension entitlement, medical care and other health care and taxation for the over 60s.

At the Citizens Information Centre we carry a wide range of forms and booklets and provide up-to-date information on relevant developments, be they in regard to pension contributions or funding for group activities. We also liase with organisations and groups involved in this area.

We provide, free of charge, the Comhairle book 'Entitlements for the Over 60s' which includes information on payments, free schemes, community services, transport, housing, tax and equality issues.
